The scope was for the provision of street lighting services across the Nottingham city council area. The initial contract was for column and lantern replacement, followed by a maintenance contract for the assets. A key part of the contract is to work alongside existing operational council activities and maintain business as usual for Nottingham City council and the general public.

Scope of Works

There was also a requirement to work in conjunction with Western Power Distribution (WPD). The aim was to upgrade all street lighting owned by Nottingham City Council and ensure the equipment is fully functioning and in good working order. Additional repairs and maintenance are to be completed within the agreed SLA’s set out in the contract. Annual service reports are completed and presented to stakeholders for feedback and continuous improvement plans produced and presented.

Key Facts

All Assets were replaced within the C.I.P stage, giving 500000T of CO2 savings and significant energy cost reduction.
