Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)
Electricity cannot be seen and with most cabling buried in walls, below ground or within ceilings and containment, it is often forgotten. Should a major defect develop within an installation, there is an increased risk of fire as well as the risk of protective devices such as circuit breakers and fuses failing to operate under fault conditions, potentially giving rise to electric shock.
Ensuring your electrical installation is inspected and tested periodically and obtaining an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) can reveal hidden defects requiring repair to protect the safety of you, your employees and your customers.
Electrical Equipment Testing (PA Testing)
As well as the fixed wiring within a building, there are also appliances to consider. Whether these are fixed or portable, testing at regular intervals is recommended to ensure the current and ongoing safety of all equipment.
Electrical load analysis
Analysing the load is useful prior to carrying out electrical refurbishments or upgrades to assess the size and type of load any new electrical equipment will need to support. Our load testing equipment allows us to survey individual supplies up to 1,000A.
Emergency lighting system testing and maintenance
Enerveo’s National Compliance team is fully capable of testing and maintaining any emergency lighting installation – large or small.
Thermographic imaging
Thermal imaging has advanced greatly in recent years. By using this technology we often yield information not revealed by traditional inspection and testing, such as overloading of equipment or cables.
Electrical schematics
Our bespoke software package SIATS, allows us to produce tailored electrical schematics and line diagrams in conjunction with the EICR. Working with our in-house team of CAD Technicians, we have the capability to offer ‘as fitted’ drawings for any size of electrical installation.
